The Giant's Causeway
The Giant's Causeway, on the northeast coast of Northern Ireland is an area of around 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. You can walk on the stones of this ancient site and sit on the Giant's chair, looking out to sea. There's also beautiful surrounding countryside to explore. Admission to the causeway is free, but you will have to pay a small charge if you wish to park your car.
