Sure Paris in the springtime is romantic. But why wait? Right now Paris is just as romantic - and a whole lot cheaper. The Eiffel Tower bursts into twinkling lights when least expected. The familiar promenade of trees from Les Invalides to the Seine, is even more romantic and Parisian when bare of leaves. "The City of Light" really comes into its own as early winter darkness settles in.

Be flexible about exact travel dates and times to take advantage of Eurostar's money saving offers. Currently, a limited number of tickets can deliver you to the heart of Paris for as little as £59 return. At Gare du Nord, buy a Metro Tourist Pass at a Metro entrance. A 3-day pass, for unlimited travel on buses, RER and Metro trains costs 19.60€.
