If you're going to be treating yourself to a week's shopping in the LA sunshine, where should you be spending your hard earned cash?
Catch the shuttle tram from The Grove to the Farmers Market
In the absence of any real traditional town centres or high streets LA is the land of the shopping mall. The Grove is an outdoor monument to retail with tree lined avenues and even it's own tram service to shuttle shoppers from the nearby Farmers Market to the main Italian style plaza, complete with classic columns and a dancing, musical fountain.
Here you'll find a huge Barnes and Noble book store, Nike, Gap and Quiksilver (with a full Roxy range) and other American favourites such as Abercrombie and Fitch and Lucky Brand.
