Another day, another major new attraction opening. That's certainly how it feels anyway. And, if anything, Universal Orlando has pulled one over ‘the competition' (i.e. the House of Mouse just down the road) with the unveiling of their long-awaited summer blockbuster, The Simpsons Ride.
While Disney went for tried and trusted family fare in Toy Story Mania (see our special report), Universal's more in-your-face style has gone full-tilt for the anarchic and irreverent in the shape of TV's longest-running cartoon series.
And to report that it is hysterically funny would be like saying Clinton and Obama have had a bit of a ding-dong in their battle for the Democratic presidential nomination.
