Holidaying in the UK Devon page 5 of 5
As day turned to night and we felt the need to dry off, it was back to accommodation we went. To perfectly complete a wonderful weekend in Devon we'd chosen to stay with Carswell Cottages in a rather large country cottage, complete with all the furnishing and finishing we could wish for. Even a log fire to warm myself by and a tumble dryer for my sodden clothes.
Amazing, and this was just the kitchen.
Devon makes a great weekend for activity enthusiasts, countryside lovers and of course those wanting to get some fresh air in the lungs (or cream teas in the tum) .
It's even convinced me to get back on the bike with the London traffic, and to get out of the city for some surfing time soon.
