I'm off to the Med on Sunday to have a look around the Costa Europa – which next year will become the new flagship of Thomson Cruises.
The 54,000-ton ship will be renamed Thomson Dream – meaning there will soon be three “dream boats” cruising the world.
The Carnival Dream will be named in New York in a few days time, and the next Disney Cruise Line ship is to be called Disney Dream.
The boss of Thomson Cruises, David Selby, will be showing me around his new ship and I’ll be bringing you the first video reports from it early next week.
When she joins the Thomson fleet in April she will be running week-long itineraries out of Palma, Majorca, alongside the current flagship Thomson Destiny.
IT’S been heavy weather for Oasis of the Seas, battling across the North Atlantic towards Fort Lauderdale.
Her arrival at port Everglades has been set back by two days – she will now arrive on November 13.
The delay won’t affect her naming ceremony on November 30, when she will have SEVEN godmothers doing the honours – one for each of the ship’s “neighbourhoods”.
