Although budget is foremost on most of our mind's this year it doesn't mean you necessarily
have to forgo your skiing trip. Whether you're a seasoned snow lover or a keen novice there are
some great bargains to be had, you just have to pick the right location.
We've slipped on our snow shoes to find you the top 10 bargain ski destinations to ensure you don't have to go without your snowy fix this season.
Borovets, Bulgaria
If you haven't heard by now that Bulgaria is a bargain ski destination then you haven't been looking. It's outside the Euro zone meaning prices are much cheaper than some of the now eye-wateringly expensive Alpine resorts. The snow's great and the oldest ski resort (now the largest) Borovets is especially geared up for childcare with babysitters, free lift passes for kids under 12 and plenty of après ski options for the grown-ups. Fly into Sofia at bargain prices and get the incredibly good value bus if you don't want to hire a car.
