Gran Canaria is an island 130 miles off the African coast, and lies in the middle of the Atlantic ocean.
Blessed with sugary white sand dunes in the south and leafy forests in the north it is a true paradise. Its hottest attraction is Sioux City, where an American Wild West theme park echoes with cowboy gunfire from their spectacular shows.
