Golden Gate Bridge
Recognised around the world, the Golden Gate Bridge is a global symbol of San Francisco. Famed for being the longest suspension bridge when it first opened, today others have taken this title - however as a bridge depicted in thousands of posters, postcards and prints, it is a sight well worth seeing. The Golden Gate Bridge is visible from many areas within San Francisco, regular boat trips cruise underneath it, or you can take a walk across. Be aware that to walk the bridge, you must visit in daylight.

Alcatraz

Fisherman's Wharf
