Souks
A variety of Souks are available in Dubai, each offering a unique experience. As Dubai is the largest gold trader in the world, why not head to the ‘Gold Souk' for a taste of why Gold is so big; 18, 21, 22 and 24 carat gold sparkles and flickers from store after store - all at a lower rates than you would expect in England. The ‘Spice Souk' is a feast for the senses; spices are held by the sack load and display an array of colours and smells. The strong scents of chilli, ginger, frankincense, and more, are bound to tempt you into buying. Other souks are dotted around Dubai, be sure to keep an eye out for them, and don't forget to haggle - it's expected!

Shopping Malls
As the shopping capital of the Middle East, a whole host of shopping malls fill Dubai with fashion, cosmetics, perfumes, leather, carpets, gold and silver, electrical goods, and much, much more. The 48 shopping malls provide the perfect reason to treat yourself, and with tax-free goods there really is no reason not to splash some cash. Some notable malls are, ‘Mall of the Emirates' - the largest shopping mall outside of the USA, ‘Deria City Centre' with an 11 screen cinema. The ‘Ibn Battuta Mall' includes 6 combined malls, in a lavish design and the first IMAX cinema in the Middle East.

Eating Out
Head to ‘Al Dawaar' for a truly incredible dining experience - Dubai's only revolving restaurant. Serving an international buffet, the Al Dawaar offers breathtaking views over the Arabian Gulf and Dubai. The restaurant takes an hour and fourty minutes to complete its circle, so you don't have to worry about getting dizzy!
Alternatively, try a truly Arabic meal at ‘Fatafeet' - a restaurant serving traditional Arabic food in a traditional Arabic setting. Sample the ‘meze', smoke a shisha, and taste the strong Arabic coffee whilst overlooking the peaceful view of the Creek.

Water sports
Its great costal location lends Dubai to a plethora of water sports, the clear seas and warm climate make the perfect location for yachting, jet-skiing, windsurfing, game fishing and more. The extreme marine life under these waters make Dubai a fascinating diving location - tropical fish, shark rays, and even a shipwreck will captivate all divers.

Camel Racing
For a true flavour of Dubai's diverse culture head to a camel race - this ancient sport has been revived in recent years and is a great way to immerse yourself into Dubai's rich culture. Watch as the traditionally dressed locals race their pride camels at extraordinary speed through the desert tracks. You'll need to be up bright and early though as races begin at about 7am and are finished by 8.30am. Races usually take place on Thursdays and Fridays, a famous camel racing track is at Nad Al Sheba (4km from Dubai) but you may find more within Dubai and the UAE.

Jumeirah Mosque
As the only Mosque in Dubai to let non-Muslims inside, and the most famous in all of the city - a trip to the Jumeirah Mosque gives a unique insight into the culture and religion of Dubai. A tour of the Mosque is available at 10am on Thursdays and Sundays, do be aware that as a place of worship, visitors are expected to cover their arms, legs and shoulders.

Wild Wadi Water Park
For a fun-packed day with the kids head to the Wild Wadi Water Park, an abundance of rides wait for you here, from the exhilarating ‘Master Blaster' to the more relaxing lazy river ‘Juha's Journey'.
