Antalya's biggest water park, Aqualand is a fantastic place to bring the kids. A number of attractions make up this water park, and Dolphinland is sure to be a hit: for an extra charge you can watch a dolphin show or even swim with them!

Perge Byzantine Ruins
This one-time wealthy city has, since the Byzantine times, been little more than ruins. Nonetheless, what remains here is more than enough to impress visitors. Walk through the relics of two Hellenistic towers to enter the city, where you'll see a large, barely-damaged theatre and a courtyard complete with fountain. Find it in Perge, about 10 miles north-east of Antalya.

Aspendos Roman Amphitheatre
A central monument within Aspendos, preservation of the amphitheatre is deemed important, and as such it is in a very good condition. This Roman amphitheatre can hold 12,000 people in its beautiful marble seats, and plays host to various ballet and opera performances. Aspendos is about 30 miles east of Antalya.

Kursunlu Waterfall
The turquoise water that collects in a deep pool at the bottom of the Kursunlu waterfall is testament to the natural beauty of the area. Sweeping green trees surround the area, giving it a picture-postcard finish. An area of outstanding beauty, not to be missed.

Alanya Red Tower
The Red Tower is believed to be where Cleopatra and Antony honeymooned. It is also the key symbol of Alanya - so much so that it is pictured on the city's flag. As one of Alanya's main tourist attraction, a holiday to the area without a visit here would just not be complete.

Cappadocia
The unique landscape of Cappadocia has been likened to that of the moon. A day in this fascinating city has much more to offer than just the scenery however. Underground cities cluster beneath the paths, once home to thousands of people; the Kizlar monastery is a hollowed-out formation where monks once lived; and the archaeology museum will engross all those with an interest in Cappadocia's historical structures.
