Things To Do in the Aegean Coast

  1. Ephesus

One of the grandest ruined cities in the western world, Ephesus today is largely made up of remains from when the city was originally founded in the 4th century BC. Wander the site and see some of the most impressive ruins in the world, and marvel at the grandeur of the Library of Celsus, the piety of the Virgin Mary's house, and the splendour of the Hellenistic theatre. Located 3 miles west of Selçuk, visit the Selçuk Tourist Office for more information.

One of the best-preserved monuments in the world, the castle of St Peter was founded in the 15th century and stands strong to this day. Today it functions as a museum, displaying shipwrecks, pottery and glass dating from the 14th century BC through to more recent times. Located in Bodrum Harbour.
