La Seu Cathedral
Completed in the 1400's, La Seu Cathedral is the alleged home of the Holy Grail - Jesus' cup from the Last Supper. As such this Cathedral is a well-visited spiritual home for locals and draws visitors from all over the world. The building itself boasts an impressive design and is a worthwhile visit.

City of the Arts and Sciences
Described as a ‘city within a city', the modern City of Arts and Sciences is one of Spain's most popular tourist attractions. Visitors can wander through the futuristic complex for free, or pay entrance to one of the four attractions within. On offer are; Museo de las Ciencias Principe Felipe - a display of new technology; L'Hemisferic - a planetarium and IMAX cinema; L'Oceanografic - Europe's largest marine park; and Palacio de las Artes - halls for opera, drama and music. Hands-on science is key here, though the fantastic building is draw enough for many.

La Lonja - Silk Exchange
A UNESCO world heritage site, La Lonja is a beautiful building, once home to the Valencian silk exchange. Built in the late 1400's, La Lonja is recommended for both its beauty and its part in Valencian history.

Fine Arts Museum
The second largest art museum in all of Spain, the Valencia Fine Arts Museum is a wonderful place to see artwork dating back to the 14th century. Baroque, Renaissance and Iconographic works are displayed, mainly from Spanish artists, but from some international artists also. The 17th century building in which this collection is housed, is of beautiful Baroque design and a wonder of its own.

Bullring
Valencia's Plaza de Toros (bullring) is one of the biggest in Spain. The impressive circular ring dominates the surrounding area, and is similar in design to Roman amphitheatres. Its huge capacity demonstrates the Spanish passion for bullfighting. Bullfighting is still performed here, visit the ring for dates and tickets - or alternatively take a tour around the ring.

Fiesta de Las Fallas
One of the most unique Spanish fiestas, Las Fallas translates the ‘the fires', and no word could better describe this celebration. Fires, fire-crackers, fire-works and anything else fire related are marched through the city at night, while during the day bullfights, parades and contests take place. A true tradition in Valencia and hard to miss if you're around while it takes place - Fiesta de Las Fallas takes place from 19th March for five days.
