Prehistoric Ruins
Menorca is covered in prehistoric ruins mostly dating from the Talayotic period (2000 to 1000 BC). You can see the structures throughout the island, but the more fertile south has a particularly high number.

Markets
The lively fish market in Plaça de Espanya and the Mercat in the renovated monastery, next to Església del Carme, are well worth a visit to pick up fresh local produce and souvenirs

Giant Maze
A giant maze built from wood where your challenge is to find four hidden checkpoints before reaching the exit. But be careful, you never know who you might meet on the way!

Mount Toro
At 354 meters Cala'n Porter is the highest point in Menorca. As well as a great place to visit if you want to see some great views of the island, it's also Menorca's spiritual heart with a working abbey here and other members of the spiritual community meeting here.

Waterpark
"Aqua Rock" is a waterpark near Cala'n Bosch where you can enjoy splashing in the pools, or just sunbathing next to them. Admission is a bit pricy though, so either make sure you get there early to make the most of it or wait until after 3pm when the price drops.

Fiesta
Ciutadella hosts Minora's most popular fiesta, Festes de Sant Joan, in late June each year. There are processions, jousting in the streets and a party atmosphere. It's also a great occasion to try a glass of pomade, a traditional gin-based drink, guaranteed to get you in the mood.
