While the resort is virtually devoid of any traditional Spanish influence, if you are looking for a home away from home, but with better weather and a great beach, Magaluf is a good choice. Its proximity to the capital Palma (just 15km away) means that, if you fancy a spot of shopping, you won't have far to travel, and airport transfer times are a reasonable thirty minutes.
Over the winter months, Magaluf adopts a more relaxed approach and the young crowds of summer give way to families and older couples taking advantage of off-season prices and the mild climate.
