Beaches

Ibiza has no fewer than sixty beaches to discover, so finding the one that's right for you shouldn't be hard. There are peaceful, secluded beaches such as Es Cubells, and the busy stretches of sand at Cala Llonga. The beaches of Es Cana have been awarded "blue flag" status, and are both clean and child friendly. For those visitors who want to more than just sunshine and sand, watersports are available on most of the island's beaches - S'Argamassa and San Antonio Bay are just two examples. The northern stretch of Cala es Figueral is a nudist beach for those who dare to bare.

Nightlife

If it's nightlife you're looking for then Ibiza won't disappoint.  Famous for its clubs and discos (and credited with the invention of the "rave") Ibiza is a clubber's heaven. Playa d'en Bossa and San Antonio are the biggest clubbing towns, renown for attracting the world's top DJs as well as hosting foam parties and 12-hour raves.

If you're looking for a more chilled out holiday then the quieter resorts usually offer low-key bars and hotel-based entertainment. Ibiza Town is another late-night favourite and offers a more classy night out away from the resorts.

Food Drink And Shopping

Food And Drink

Ibiza choice of food is wide-ranging, from traditional Spanish dishes, featuring fresh fish and shellfish, to English favourites and Italian dishes.  Restaurants vary in price and quality but almost all provide a terrace or garden so you can enjoy your meal while watching the world go by, something not to be missed. A 'must try' when in Ibiza is the traditional grilled sausage, Butifarra, which is as popular as the fresh fish that adorn many menus on the island.

Shopping

Shopping in Ibiza caters for a variety of tastes and budgets, from the designer boutiques and department stores to market stalls selling handmade crafts. Because this is a part of Spain you can take advantage of the late opening hours. Some shops even keep their doors open until well after midnight. Es Cana has a hippie market every Wednesday where you can peruse the array of colourful kaftans, beads and bangles.
