Blue Caves
Discovered in 1897, the Blue Caves are now a popular attraction for tourists and no visit to the island would be complete without a glimpse. The Blue Caves were formed by the force of the sea, and so named because of the sparkling blue waters within. Located on the northern tip of the island, not far from Cape Skinari

Byzantine Museum
Rebuilt after an earthquake in the 1950s, the Byzantine Museum is home to a collection of religious works. See ancient artefacts and learn more about Zante's history: wall paintings, biographies of saints and wooden carvings are all on display. Situated in the island's capital, Zante Town.

Bochali Viewpoint
Take the walk from Zante Town up the hillside to be met with arguably the best view of the island. It's a bit of a trek but well worth the effort. Stay there until sunset or be there early for sunrise and you'll be rewarded with an even greater spectacle. Just don't forget your camera!

Turtle Trips
Take a trip on a glass-bottomed boat to see the giant loggerhead turtles, now an endangered species under protection with only an estimated 800 remaining. Located in Laganas.

Bowling
Bowl 'Em Over in the resort of Tsilivi is a bowling centre and more. As well as bowling you can play pool, table football and air hockey, or spend time in the amusements. There's also a children's play area and snack bar.
