Things To Do in Corfu

  1. Achillion Palace

Famed for its part in the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only, the Achillion Palace was originally built for Empress Elizabeth of Austria in the late 1800s. Its neo-classical style isn't to everyone's taste: Elizabeth herself disliked the palace but stayed due to her love for Corfu. Inside, look out for the magnificent paintings and original furniture, while outside, the green gardens are lined with palm trees and bronze statues, the grounds offering wonderful views of the coastline. Located in southern Corfu, 12 miles south of Corfu Town.
