With four kilometres of coastline to enjoy, there's always space to lay your towel and relax on the soft sand and take a dip in the sea. The beach is backed by a promenade, which makes a great location for a stroll, morning or night.

Yasmine Hammamet is a new resort, and as a result there are a host of modern facilities, including a casino and Thalassotherapy centres. But, it's the old town (medina) with its lively souks, museums, theatre and restaurants that ultimately define the resort. Spend some time wandering the market, not forgetting to haggle (it's expected) to get the best deals.  Then grab a drink at a street-front café and watch the carts, cars and camels pass by you. The resort's marina, which boasts moorings for over 700 vessels, is another great spot to the surroundings.

If, come nightfall, you fancy something a bit more energetic then the medina's nightclub should do the trick. Otherwise, take the opportunity to sample some of the local delights in one of the town's restaurants.
