Baths
For a true insight into Tunisian culture, why not enjoy a relaxing morning at the local Sousse Baths. The baths have a valued function for the locals in that they provide everyone with a hygienic way to wash, as not all Tunisian houses have bathrooms. If you visit the baths you will find that the men and women who run them perform separate sessions for males and females, and that they will use a tfal, a rough glove, on your skin to exfoliate. For this special experience, make your way to Rue el Aghlaba.
