  The bad points 1. Noise. Loud music is frequently played during the daytime. Loud music is played at night and often continues into the early hours. At the time of our visit most of the guests were either older people or couples with young children. 2. Room not available on arrival. It appears that departing guests can easily keep a room after normal check out time if they pay for it and then arriving guests are sent off to inferior apartments. When we arrived we were told that they didn?t have a room available. There were feeble excuses and were told that we had to go by taxi to another location for one night. We insisted that we had a confirmed booking but this did not make any difference. We were told that the alternative apartments were as good as the one we had booked. We insisted on seeing the manager, under pressure he admitted that some guests were refusing to leave and that he did not have any rooms. We said we would wait and went to the pool area to get some much need food and drink. In the next hour we did not see anyone leave but a room became available. After talking to other guests it appears that this is a common occurrence. Any guests who ask to keep their room after the normal check out time can do so if they pay for it. The other guests who went to the alternative accommodation described it as a dive. One guest spent the first two nights in two different alternative accommodations. One guest slept on a bench for the first night and was still asked to pay extra to keep the room after normal check out time at the end of his stay. The good points 1. Rooms OK. About what you would expect for the price we paid. 2. Location good with easy access to the beach and shops 3. Excellent swimming pool

  Requested a quiet room and couldn't have been closer to the noisy bar if we'd tried. 6 paces from our patio area. Music was bearable, occasionally got stupidly loud. Cleaner came daily but only swept the floor and changed the towels (they were a bit old and raggedy). Never had the loo or basin cleaned in the 10 days we were there. I think the bedding was only changed once too. Self catering facilities are poor, a 2 ring burner is all you get and the untensils provided leave a lot to be desired. I'd hate to see their version of a blunt knife if the one we had was supposed to be a sharp one. We were hassled by the in house massage/Turkish bath man on a daily basis. Nice proximity to the town and beach though and it was cheap. Definitely wouldn't rate this place as 3 star, 1 at most.

  after reading some reviews about this place i was dreading going, however when we arrived the staff at club cherry were very helpful, they went out of their way to make sure we was happy, the aparments are very basic, but this weren't a problem, i travelled with my husband my daughter who is 9 and my 2 year old son, the pool is so clean and the children loved it, there was music playing but it was never played to loud or for too long, they have a tab were u can pay dailyt so you know were your money is going, and the location is brillaint, a few minutes walk from the beautiful marina, resutrants and shops. i loved my stay here, our sheets and towels were changed daily, the bbq night is fantastic with the free entertainment, i can not begin to explain how much of a good time me and my family had here, we would go back anyday.

  We spent 14 days at the Cherry Apartments in late August/September. The outside of the complex looks very good, nicely painted and a lovely pool area. Inside the apartments it is a different story. They are VERY basic! We did not even have a kettle or toaster! The kitchen area was grubby and definitely in need of an update. The linen is changed every day and the apartment cleaned with fresh towels provided. The hot water for the shower is not reliable. Fortunately, we did not eat in the apartment or use it to prepare food but for anyone who needs to do this I would not recommend the kitchen area at all. Beware also of the bar bill - no cash is exchanged so guest sign a receipt on the purchase of drinks, snacks etc. This means that you need to check your bill before paying as no prices are shown on the receipts and the bill can mount up! As usual, drinks at the bar are more expensive than outside of the complex. The Turkish Night/BBQ was entertaining but appeared to be a way of selling raffle tickets etc. There were big gaps between the acts when staff seemed to try to sell more drinks and raffle tickets, coming around all the tables several times. Turgurties is a pretty resort, more expensive than some other resorts but the market and outings from the resort, Ephesus etc are excellent. If you go the the Cherry Apartments use them as a place to store your clothes and lay your head - it's cheap and just a base to explore further afield and enjoy the rest of the coastline.

  This hotel is a very nice hotel in an excellent location, good for couples and families with young or teenage children on a budget holiday. The apartments are basic but clean and furnished to a nice standard, bad reviewers I think need to understand when you pay less than �300 for a trip to Turkey you dont expect a 5* resort, spend some more money if you want luxury! The hotel staff are superb, very friendly and helpful! This is a family orientated hotel and resort, 2 minute walk from a huge, very cheap supermarket, 5 minute walk from the centre which is full of shops, bars, restaurants, all fairly priced. 5 minute walk from the beach and the marina, plenty of things to do, boat trips, watersports etc. If you are looking for a cheap, friendly getaway this is definately the place to go!
