  We travel to Disney World often, and have always searched for deals on hotels that are affordable, clean and safe. Over the years we have stayed at many different places, some good, some bad. But after finding this hotel last year, we won't be looking any further. We have stayed at the Ramada Gateway 3 times within the last year and have found it to be perfectly suited to our needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the service is very good. This past trip, our room was upgraded to the tower and we were extremely pleased with those accommodations...especially the kitchenette. Housekeeping did a wonderful, dependable job. The room was always clean and fresh smelling, and we had a nice view of Disney property, which is only minutes away. We had good internet service and the air conditioning worked well and quietly. The pool area is nicely kept and the pool is clean, large and refreshing. Our only regret in that regard would be that there is no hot tub. The hotel has a buffet restaurant at which we had breakfast, which was good with excellent, friendly service. And the on-site laundry room is clean and pleasant. All in all, we found this to be the perfect place for us and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay.

  Firstly I would like to say what a great time we had at this hotel. When we booked we had booked the Inn rooms and after reading some reviews on here was very worried however when we checked in I used my Wyndham card and got a free upgrade to the tower. The room was great had everything you needed microwave, coffee maker, etc. despite the reviews on here we got out bathroon stuff replaced every day. During our 2 weeks at this hotel we never once got asked to go for a time share meeting. This was a great hotel and the bar was real good as well even though it could have done with a little music in it. I think some people on here expect 5* for the money they pay but for the money you pay this hotel exceded my expectations that's for sure. So be warned people dont listen to all the reviews on here as some people just want everything for free and aren't happy when they done get it.

  The Ramada Maingate West in Kissimmee, Florida 34747. The service was terrible and the room was dirty. The carpet was dirty enough to get our feet black, the walls needed painting and the bath tub had rust. We didn't enjoy our stay from August 7-10, 2009. Thanks, Leonard

  My wife and I stayed there beginning of August, and it was by far the worst experience / hotel ever. Just to start with the staff, they were plain simply RUDE, when we asked questions about the hotel or shuttle service, they could not get us away from the front desk quick enough. The room was not to bad, if you look beyond the air-condition falling out of the wall, the rust all over, the bath tub getting blocked after a shower, the electricity cutting out most of the time etc. etc. etc. We have traveled all over the world, and usually stay in the budget hotels, but in this case, it ended up costing us mush more, because we had to check out a day earlier and book into a different hotel. We definitely are not snobs, but to all out there, rather pay your $10 more, and at least get some sleep.

  We stayed there 2 nights. The beds were as hard as concrete. Half the hotel was empty but they put us in a room right next to the dumpster which smelled terrible. The bathroom door in our room wouldn't lock. I asked for a wakeup call and was told I should use the alarm clock instead. After I said I would use the alarm, they said they would also do a wakeup call but they messed it up and did it at 5:30 in the morning, the wrong time. When you first check in, they send you to a timeshare desk where you have to listen to a salespitch before they will give you your parking permit for the hotel. There are hotels all around that probably provide a better experience.
