British company Thomson Cruises offer consistently well-packaged fun cruises that are great value for money and because they can make use of Thomson hotel deals, they offer a great range of add-on holidays to extend your cruise, so making them a great choice for 1st or 2nd cruise holidaymakers.

The fleet varies in size and feel making it easy for Thomson to offer the freedom and choice of holiday they wish to, from adult-only holidays to family-friendly cruises.

For example, their largest ship Destiny is great for families as it boasts a wealth of facilities such as 2 pools and a sports deck, whereas Celebration offer a touch of luxury with a two-storey spa and an Aldo Zilli restaurant. 

All ships however enjoy both formal and more casual dining options. There will always be a place in the main dining room for you, but if you fancy a buffet or a la carte, the choice is there.  

And you can also upgrade to Thomson's Premier Service, which not only offers a better class of  cabins and suites but other benefits, including increased baggage allowance, priority check-in for UK flights & on ship, plus breakfast in bed and a concierge service.

For child-friendly ships the Kidzone, for ages 3-12, has reps with childcare qualifications and to make the holiday more affordable child prices go up to age 16.

The evening entertainment and shows are colourful and entertaining, or if you prefer there are plenty of bars and lunges for a more sociable evening. When you're ready to retire for the night, there's a good range of cabins and suites on all ships, with sea view cabins remarkably good value.
