Princess Cruises is one of the seven big cruise companies and they offer a really well- organised experience that appeals to the Brits but offers North American service. They travel to all seven continents and visit 270 ports of call with over 90 different itineraries so wherever you want to go, Princess can take you and their onshore excursions are arguably the best in the business.

The ships themselves have a sophisticated neutral décor for example, most have teak lounge chairs on the promenade. There are no bright lights and brash colours here and the roomy public areas enjoy a good passenger flow.

That North American service includes little extras for all passengers like a turn down service & chocolates on your pillow every night. Don't forget to request your bathrobes! Princess Cruises also offer some of the most affordable balcony staterooms, although of course there are plenty of suite options to upgrade to also.  

Princess pride themselves on their "Big Ship Choice, Small Ship Feel" attitude and this means there's plenty to do with lots of individual choices such as their

"Personal Choice Dining", a mix of traditional assigned dining and more relaxed "Anytime Dining" that means you no longer have to appear at a fixed time in the dining room.

Other highlights include proper cinemas aboard most ships, with the outdoor poolside mega-screens a must for watching movies under the stars. Even the nightly entertainments have a lavish Hollywood feel to them, boasting some of the largest casts at sea performing Broadway favorites. And this attention to detail and quality makes Princess top of the list for weddings at sea with the most extensive wedding packages of all.
